Bigger items (like furniture) and sentimental items (like your grandmother’s wedding ring) are a lengthier discussion but what about the everyday necessities (like food processors, backup batteries, etc) and handy “nice-to-haves,” (like jumper cables and a bread knife)?
Depending on where you move to, some everyday items will either be very hard to find or cost prohibitive (Or… it could be that you want to ensure that the item will function long term. I, and others, have found that the quality control here for imports can be somewhat lacking).
After answering the question “What should I bring” so many times, I decided to create an online shop on my website, featuring must-have items for your everyday life in Costa Rica… all conveniently available on Amazon!
While not all items are “eco” (which is one of my many goals), each serves a practical purpose in our tropical environment. Let’s learn to balance convenience with mindfulness, making choices that support our lifestyle needs while considering our environmental impact.💚
Explore the shop today and figure out what you may need when living here!
